Breast Augmentation
Enlarging and reshaping the breasts can help to make them more proportionate to the rest of the body.
Breast Augmentation is a surgical procedure to enhance the size and shape of a woman's breast by inserting an implant behind each breast. The implants can be placed under or over the pectoral muscles. Typically, the implant is placed under the muscle. This provides better camouflage and reduces the chance of developing a scar capsule around the implant.
Breast augmentation is often sought by women with small breasts or breasts which have lost their fullness and shape from age, pregnancy, breast feeding or weight loss.
The surgery can also balance out breasts which are different in size or shape and it can be used to reconstruct the breast following mastectomy or due to congenital breast deformity.
